This July 4th and that week, I will be in NYC for the first time. If you have any suggestions as to what I absolutely must experience while I am there, please let me know.
I am quite excited about this trip. Lifelong dream is finally coming to fruition.... I definitely want to see a Broadway show, Central Park, etc... I will be staying in Midtown.

O lucky man, or Saviour! Enjoy the trip. It's an awesome city. Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, see a show, wander aimlessly. There's really so much to see and do, it's hard to recommend anything. The views from the Top of the Rock are better than the Empire State Building in my opinion but nobody listens to me.
So? How the hell was it? Hope it lived up to expectations. I'm heading there in August for the weekend. Thankfully, it's close to fly to for me. Hope you had a grand time.

I miss it, actually. Like an old friend I didn't know I had.
Now I can say "one person listened to me"! Glad you had a great time, it's an exciting city. I was there the weekend before the big Irene washout and saw little Harry Potter hoofing through How to Succeed in Business... and it was really good. I still haven't managed tickets for Book of Mormon but maybe next time! Start planning your return!
I couldn't stomach "How To Succeed" due to a horrible high school production I had the misfortune of participating in...
I saw MotherF***er In The Hat, Book of Mormon, and Avenue Q....
